Management Systems Auditing (2 days)

This course is competency based and takes students through a simple easy to follow journey through the audit requirements and processes required by most management system standards such as quality, safety, environmental,  etc…..

The course places a strong emphasis on conducting audits in a way that suits your own business needs rather than just to meet certification requirements.

Students will learn strategies to promote a positive audit experience and to eliminate the perceived negativity associated with most audit situations.

Day one begins with a brief look at the audit requirements of these standards and then flows into the step by step process to be followed. Other subject matter covers; how to find what questions to ask, communication skills, simple checklist formats, process based auditing, audit scheduling, audit reporting and includes a simple explanation of how to differentiate between objective and subjective information. Day two contains hands-on auditing exercises which will be a live audit on your own systems. This real experience is used to ensure competence and eliminates the need for a conventional exam
